Auto Chamber Filter Press
The auto chamber filter press is a solid-liquid separation filter press widely used in various industries. It is commonly used in wastewater treatment plants, mining operations, chemical industries and food processing plants. It forces the liquid partially through the filter cloth while retaining the solid particles in the chamber.
The basic structure of an auto chamber filter press consists of a series of filter plates with filter cloths that alternate with solid plates. The filter plates of our products are usually made of materials such as polypropylene, cast iron or stainless steel, depending on the application and the nature of the filter material. Each plate has a central chamber or chambers in which solids accumulate during the filtration process.

Filtration Principle
The filter cloth acts as a medium to pass liquids through while retaining solids. The result is the formation of a filter cake and collection of the filtrate within the chamber, resulting in effective solid-liquid separation.
Filtration: The chamber filter press applies pressure to the slurry either hydraulically or mechanically. This pressure forces the liquid portion of the slurry through the filter cloth while retaining the solid particles within the chamber.
Cake Formation: As the liquid passes through the filter cloth, a layer of solid particles called cake forms on the surface of the cloth within each chamber.
Filtrate Collection: The liquid portion of the slurry, called the filtrate, passes through the filter cloth and is collected in a drainage system or collection channel.
Filter Cloth Cleaning: Over time, the filter cloth may become clogged with accumulated solids, which can reduce filtration efficiency. Regular cleaning or replacement of the filter cloth is critical to maintaining the performance of the chamber filter press.

We conduct various tests to determine shock resistance, elongation strength, elongation at break, curving strength, distortion temperature, and more. This allows us to optimize the recipe for the filter plate to meet the specific requirements of each client and their unique environment and slurry. The technical index for this membrane plate includes a tensile strength of up to 56mpa, elongation at break of 800%, machining accuracy (depth of parallelism) of ≤0.157mm, planeness of 0.012/100mm2, and a dimension tolerance of plate thickness of ±0.20mm. The machining accuracy class is G5. During testing, the membrane plate was subjected to 2.1 times the stated pressure. The diaphragm plate had no leakage or deflection when tested at 2.1 times the specified pressure.
